Job Description
The British Council is offering an invaluable experiential learning opportunity for recent graduates through its internship program. This internship is designed to provide a practical complement to your academic knowledge, allowing you to gain real-world experience and enhance your employability skills.
As an Intern Executive Support Assistant in Exams, you will be based in Lagos and will provide crucial operational and administrative support. Your primary focus will be assisting the Director of Examinations, Nigeria, and supporting the Nigeria Exams Leadership Team. This will involve managing internal communications, providing logistical support for meetings and workshops, and coordinating various business initiatives.
This role is specifically crafted to help early-career professionals build practical skills, professional confidence, and gain essential industry experience. Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Director of Examinations, Nigeria, and the Nigeria Exams Leadership Team.
- Manage stakeholder correspondence and coordination with internal and external partners.
- Schedule and organize internal meetings and workshops, including logistical planning as delegated by the Director of Exams.
Qualifications
- Graduate Level Education (BSc/HND).
- Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or have a certificate of exemption.
- Be a recent graduate (Maximum 3 years post NYSC) with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Possess good organization, time management, and scheduling skills.
- Be computer literate with proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite.
- Have an interest in the British Council Examination Products and services.
- Fluency in English Language is essential.
