Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Growth and Marketing Lead to spearhead user acquisition and engagement initiatives for our multicurrency fintech platform.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving measurable growth by deeply understanding user behavior and optimizing the entire customer journey. Your focus will be on key metrics such as active funded users, cost per acquisition, and repeat usage, ensuring sustainable and scalable expansion.

You will lead and mentor a talented growth team, empowering them to tackle complex challenges and maximize their collective output. This involves setting clear priorities, fostering a data-driven culture, and ensuring the team's efforts are aligned with overarching business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the user funnel from sign-up to verification, first deposit, and repeat use.
  • Analyze user data to diagnose movements and report with reasons attached.
  • Run paid campaigns across Meta, X, Google, and other relevant platforms, optimizing for active funded users.
  • Allocate budget weekly based on performance data, not channel preference.
  • Design and implement user lifecycle programs including onboarding, activation, and re-engagement.
  • Treat the referral program as a product, focusing on mechanics, incentives, measurement, and iteration.
  • Continuously run experiments, documenting tests, outcomes, and next steps.
  • Lead the growth team by setting weekly priorities, running meetings, and directing effort towards high-leverage work.
  • Coach team members, provide clear feedback, and facilitate their professional development.
  • Provide weekly updates to the CEO, focusing on key metrics and strategic changes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience growing a consumer product, with fintech experience being a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and enjoying a team, understanding the difference between directing and dictating.
  • Ability to interpret cohort tables and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong opinions on attribution models and the ability to defend them.
  • Proactive in running tests and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Ability to terminate underperforming campaigns decisively.
  • Excellent written communication skills for briefs, Slack messages, and reports.
  • Positive track record of fostering strong working relationships.
