Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Content and Product Marketing Specialist to bridge the gap between our product development and user understanding, ensuring our offerings resonate deeply with our target audience.

This role is crucial for translating user needs and product features into clear, compelling messaging that drives engagement and adoption. You will be responsible for crafting segment-specific content that speaks directly to the unique pain points and aspirations of our diverse user base, from freelancers to diaspora senders.

You will own the narrative across various platforms, including blog posts, email flows, in-app announcements, and website copy, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand voice. Your ability to switch communication styles while maintaining brand integrity will be key to connecting with users on a personal level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own segment-specific messaging for diverse user groups like freelancers, remote workers, and diaspora senders.
  • Maintain competitive battle cards that are specific, honest, and useful for the entire team.
  • Write one to two blog posts per week targeting audience search queries, ensuring SEO optimization without sacrificing readability.
  • Craft emails and push notifications for lifecycle flows, tailored to specific user stages and hesitations.
  • Manage all aspects of feature launches, including in-app announcements, app store updates, landing pages, and talking points.
  • Ensure website copy is current and accurately reflects product evolution and positioning.
  • Maintain a content calendar aligned with launches, growth priorities, and relevant market moments.
  • Write UX copy for critical decision points such as first deposit, tier selection, and verification.
  • Share learnings and insights with the team regarding content resonance and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the design team on UX copy and with the growth team on messaging strategy.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in product marketing for a consumer product, with fintech experience being a significant advantage.
  • Ability to adapt communication style across different registers (technical, warm, persuasive) while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Respect for the reader's time, avoiding filler, jargon, and overly long paragraphs.
  • Keen analytical skills for competitor copy review and understanding market positioning.
  • Proficiency in balancing writing for search engines with writing for human readers.
  • Ability to receive feedback constructively and provide clear, actionable feedback to others.
  • A strong track record of shipping content and marketing initiatives effectively.
