Job Description
Blockworks is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Account Executive to drive new business acquisition and expand our client base within the dynamic crypto industry.
In this pivotal role, you will own the full sales cycle, from identifying and engaging prospects to negotiating and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals. You will proactively build your pipeline, develop custom solutions that address partner needs, and foster long-term, multi-threaded relationships within client organizations.
You will engage with senior-level executives, including CMOs and founders, at tier-1 crypto protocols, financial institutions, and Fortune 500 companies entering the digital asset space. A deep understanding of emerging narratives, capital flows, and the nuances of crypto data infrastructure will be crucial for leading advanced conversations.
This position demands exceptional discipline in CRM management, accurate forecasting, and rigorous pipeline management. You will also play an active role in mentoring junior sellers and contributing to the team's overall success, embodying a spirit of continuous improvement and experimentation.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Proactively build and manage a robust sales pipeline, sourcing your own opportunities.
- Develop and present custom proposals that span Blockworks' data, media, and events products.
- Build multi-threaded relationships within client accounts to drive expansion and deeper partnerships.
- Engage with senior stakeholders (CMOs, VPs, Founders) at leading crypto protocols, financial institutions, and Fortune 500 companies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging narratives, and capital flows in the crypto space to inform sales strategies.
- Lead advanced conversations around Blockworks' data product and its application in client workflows.
- Attend industry events to accelerate relationships and generate pipeline.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM, forecast sales accurately, and manage pipeline with rigor.
- Mentor other sellers, share best practices, and contribute to raising the team's overall performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years in a closing sales role, preferably in crypto, SaaS, or emerging tech.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
- Proven experience closing seven-figure enterprise deals.
- Ability to manage a book of business with accountability and creativity.
- Skill in working long sales cycles without losing momentum and accelerating them when appropriate.
- Experience building genuine relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of how crypto companies and financial institutions operate.
- Ability to position data infrastructure as a strategic asset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortability with a remote-first, fast-paced, and experimental work environment.
